Flag School for the past 9 years

Dromore was proud to be presented with our ninth Green Flag Award since 2004 for efforts in environmental awareness including:

• Composting
• Recycling
• Bird feeders
• Flower Boxes and Baskets
• Vegetable plot
• Enhancement of the school environment

Our Green School Code

• We put all our litter in the bin.
• If there is no bin, we take our rubbish home.
• We take active responsibility for keeping our school clean.
• We recycle in the school and at home.
• We visit the bottle bank.
• We recycle paper.
• We use recycled materials for art work
• We compost school and household waste.
• We all look after the environment.
• We feed the birds.
• We plant trees in our school garden.
• We plant spring bulbs.
